ThrowSense League – Tournament & League Rulebook
This rulebook applies to all competitions organised by ThrowSense ('ThrowSense Competitions') on ThrowSense League. Additional rules of the respective organiser may apply to community competitions.

This rulebook is part of the terms of service of the ThrowSense League platform.
Order of precedence
This Tournament & League Rulebook supplements the Terms of Service (T&C) and the Safety & Compliance Policy of the ThrowSense League. In the event of conflicts the following order applies:

Delimitation from platform use (SaaS)
This rulebook governs exclusively the operation of and participation in competitions (Events).
Use of the platform as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is governed by the T&C and remains unaffected hereby.
§ 1 Core principle
1.1 ThrowSense League is a sporting skill-based competition. Results are determined by dart-playing skill.
1.2 Fair play takes priority. Manipulation, collusion or deception lead to sanctions up to and including exclusion as well as forfeiture of prize money.
§ 2 Eligibility
2.1 Minimum age
Participation in paid competitions and payout of prize money is only permitted from the age of 18.
2.2 Account & identity
- Only one account per person is permitted.
- In case of suspicion of multi-accounting or misuse, verification may be requested.
2.3 Board & playing environment
- Matches are played on supported systems (e.g. AutoDarts, Scolia) according to the announcement.
- Players are themselves responsible for a stable internet connection and rules-compliant use of hardware and software.
§ 3 Competition categories
3.1 Season Leagues
- Match days / fixtures, standings, and where applicable playoffs
- Team formats (e.g. 2v2, 3v3, 4v4) and Solo (1v1)
3.2 Frequent Quick Leagues (1–3 days)
- Short leagues with condensed flow
- Fixed time slots or short-notice scheduling
3.3 Frequent Quick Tournaments (Nightly)
- Regularly recurring evening tournaments
- Formats: Single Elimination, Double Elimination, Swiss, Groups + KO, Cups (as announced)
§ 4 Registration, check-in, no-show
4.1 Registration
Participation takes place via the respective Event page. Entry fees and prize pool are displayed in advance.
4.2 Check-in
Where a check-in is provided, the starting slot is forfeited without check-in.
4.3 No-show / lateness
- Lateness of more than 10 minutes may result in a walkover.
- Repeated no-shows may lead to temporary or permanent bans from Quick Events.
§ 5 Match rules (general)
5.1 Game mode
X01 (e.g. 501), best-of, legs/sets according to the announcement.
5.2 Communication
The fixture / match chat is the binding communication channel.
5.3 Result submission
- AutoDarts: via linked/verified account (where required)
- Scolia: photo / receipt proof (where required)
5.4 Unplayability / abort
In case of technical problems:
- report immediately in the chat,
- document (screenshots, photos, logs),
- one-time retry or reschedule within the Event window.
If continuation is not possible, the tournament management decides according to fairness criteria.
§ 6 Standings, scoring, tiebreakers
6.1 Scoring
According to the announcement (e.g. Win/Draw/Loss or match points).
6.2 Tiebreakers (default)
- Head-to-head result
- Set / leg difference
- Legs won
- Decision match or admin decision
6.3 Quick Leagues
Matches that were not played may be treated as a walkover or 0-scoring according to the announcement.
§ 7 Tournament flow & brackets
7.1 Seeding
By ranking, ELO or random — as announced.
7.2 Brackets
Brackets are generated by the system; special cases are corrected by tournament management.
7.3 Disqualification
In the event of rule violations or no-shows, a disqualification may be issued.
§ 8 Prize money, prize pool & payout
8.1 Transparency
Entry fee, organisation fee, net prize pool and prize distribution are displayed before the Event starts.
8.2 Prize money in coins
Winners receive prize-money coins that are tied to the respective Event.
8.3 Re-use
Prize-money coins may be used for further ThrowSense competitions.
8.4 Payout
- Payout on request via PayPal
- Minimum amount for payout: 10 prize-money coins
- Processing fee: 1% of the payout amount
- Requirements: Event completed, result final, user 18+
8.5 Misuse
Match-fixing, fraud, multi-accounting or chargeback abuse lead to forfeiture of prize money and to bans.
§ 9 Disputes & evidence
9.1 Deadline
Disputes within 48 hours after match end or before Event completion.
9.2 Evidence
Screenshots, photos (Scolia), AutoDarts links/logs, chat transcripts, timestamps.
9.3 Decision
Tournament management decides based on the submitted evidence and fairness. Decisions are final.
§ 10 Prohibited practices (cheating / manipulation)
The following practices are prohibited in particular:
- Match-fixing / result collusion
- Multi-accounting
- Identity deception ('smurfing')
- Technical manipulation of measurement / tracking systems
- Harassment, hate speech, threats
Sanctions range from warnings through disqualification to permanent bans.

§ 11 Conduct & community standards
- Respectful behaviour is mandatory.
- Private data of others must not be published.
- Disputes are to be resolved factually through the dispute process.
§ 12 Data protection & content
- Match data and evidence are processed exclusively for Event handling.
- Storage and processing take place in accordance with the privacy policy.
§ 13 Abort, interruption & force majeure
ThrowSense may abort, interrupt or postpone competitions in the event of:
- technical disruptions,
- failures of third-party systems (e.g. AutoDarts, Scolia),
- force majeure.
Handling is carried out in accordance with the T&C and the Event announcement.
§ 14 Tournament management & limitation of liability
- Tournament management acts to the best of its knowledge in the interests of a fair competition.
- There is no entitlement to a particular decision.
- Liability exists only for intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty within the statutory framework.
§ 15 Changes to the rulebook
ThrowSense may adjust this rulebook. For ongoing Events, the rules published at the Event start generally apply.
