Safety & Compliance Policy

This Safety & Compliance Policy is an integral part of the Tournament & League Rulebook of the ThrowSense League. It serves to protect the integrity of the competitions, the platform and all participating players.

This Policy governs exclusively aspects relating to safety, fair play and payout in the context of competitions (Events).

Scope & delimitation

This Safety & Compliance Policy refers exclusively to participation in competitions (Events) of the ThrowSense League.

Use of the platform as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) — including registration, account management and general platform functions — is governed exclusively by the Terms of Service (T&C) and is not subject matter of this Policy.

1. Purpose & principles

1.1 ThrowSense League operates sporting skill-based competitions (darts). The Safety Policy ensures that:

competitions are conducted fairly and transparently,
manipulation and misuse are prevented,
prize money is properly and securely paid out.

1.2 ThrowSense is not a gambling, betting or payment provider.

Coins (Bullseyes) are internal event tokens for processing competitions.

2. Security & risk checks

2.1 ThrowSense reserves the right to carry out automated and manual checks, in particular for:

participation in paid competitions,
suspicious results or match patterns,
unusual coin or prize-money movements,
payout requests (PayOuts).

2.2 These checks serve in particular to detect:

match-fixing or result collusion,
multi-accounting or identity deception,
misuse of the coin system,
chargeback fraud,
circumvention of entry or age restrictions.

3. Age & identity verification

3.1 Participation in paid competitions as well as payouts of prize money are permitted exclusively to persons aged 18+.

3.2 Within security and compliance checks ThrowSense may request:

age documents,
identity documents,
proof that the PayPal account belongs to the user.

3.3 Without a successful check there is no right to payout.

4. Coin security & earmarking

4.1 Coins are not currency, not credit and not e-money, but internal event tokens for participation in competitions.

4.2 Prize-money coins:

arise exclusively from competitions,
are tied to a specific Event,
may be used for new competitions or paid out in accordance with the PayOut rules.

4.3 Coins are:

not transferable between users,
non-interest-bearing,
not intended as an investment.

5. Balance limit for prize-money coins

5.1 To reduce risk and abuse cases a maximum holding limit applies to prize-money coins:

Maximum prize-money-coin balance: 200 coins

5.2 The limit serves to:

avoid long-term value storage within the platform,
prevent tournament-account-like structures,
reduce fraud and abuse risks.

6. Reduction duty / safety payout

6.1 If the prize-money-coin limit of 200 coins is reached or exceeded, the user must reduce the excess amount within 14 days:

by participating in further competitions, or
by requesting a payout (PayOut).

6.2 If no reduction takes place within this period, participation in further paid competitions may be temporarily suspended.

6.3 ThrowSense may, at its own discretion, initiate a safety payout of the excess amount, provided that:

a verified PayPal account exists,
all security and compliance checks are complete,
no open dispute or suspension ground exists.

7. Payout – security & flow

7.1 Payouts are made exclusively:

from prize-money coins,
via PayPal,
on request of the user.

7.2 Payout requirements:

Minimum amount: 10 prize-money coins
Processing fee: 1% of the payout amount
no open dispute
no suspicion of manipulation or abuse
minimum age 18

7.3 Furthermore:

there is no further minimum payout,
no additional payout fees apply.

7.4 For fraud prevention ThrowSense may:

temporarily hold payouts,
request additional evidence,
reject payouts in case of safety or rule violations.

8. Disputes, holds & suspensions

8.1 In case of ongoing disputes the following may be temporarily frozen:

results
prize money
payouts

8.2 In case of serious violations ThrowSense may:

forfeit prize-money claims,
annul competitions,
suspend users temporarily or permanently.

9. Prohibited practices (excerpt)

Prohibited are in particular:

match-fixing / result collusion,
use of multiple accounts,
identity manipulation or deception,
technical manipulation of matches or results,
systematic misuse of coin or PayOut functions.

Violations lead to sanctions up to and including:

exclusion from competitions,
permanent account suspension,
forfeiture of winnings.

10. Data protection

The processing of personal data within security and compliance checks takes place exclusively in accordance with the platform's Privacy Policy.
