Global leaderboard¶
The Global leaderboard is a cross-club ranking. It answers the question: who are the best players on ThrowSense right now?
How points are calculated¶
Every ranked tournament contributes to your leaderboard score. Three signals are combined:

ELO uses standard calculation with a K-factor that decays as you play more games — new players move fast, established players move slowly.
What counts as “ranked”?¶
A tournament contributes to the global leaderboard only if its Is ranked flag is on. The same applies to leagues and series. Casual events stay out of the global leaderboard — so friendly matches don't distort the picture.
Club admins control this per event. When creating a new league / series / tournament you'll see the Ranked toggle. On = counts; off = stays local.
Scope filters¶
The leaderboard has three scope tabs:
- Overall — every ranked player on ThrowSense.
- Series — filtered to players with results in the selected series.
- Club — filtered to players who are members of the selected club.
Use scope filters to run internal club rankings without creating a separate series.
Ranking qualifications¶
To appear on the overall leaderboard you need:
- A verified AutoDarts account.
- At least 5 ranked matches played on ThrowSense.
This prevents one-match flukes from sitting at the top.
Where to see it¶
- Top navigation → Ranking → Leaderboard (everyone sees this).
- Club admin dashboards also show a “Club leaders” widget pulling from the same leaderboard, scoped to the current club.
Frequently asked¶
Does a win in a private club count? Yes, if the tournament is marked Ranked. Private means not publicly listed — it does not mean casual.
I dropped 30 ELO points overnight — why? Check your match list. A ranked match you played may have imported late from AutoDarts.
Can I hide from the leaderboard? Not today. Public standings are part of a competitive platform. If you want private play, ask your club admin to mark the event Casual (not ranked).
